1927 Austin 7 “The Curfew Special” Newly built during lock down to compete last season in the VSCC’s Speed Series of sprints and hill climbs and was placed 2nd in class 8 and overall 10th in the championship .
Built on a 1927 short chassis with Vintage running gear to comply with the VSCC’s regulations it would also be eligible for the Pre-War Austin Seven Club’s Bert Hadley Series and the 750 clubs Historic 750 Formula.
The car is fairly light at 360kg and powered by a very strong Pigsty Racing built 50bhp engine it performs very well and handles as it should. a quick competitive car that's well sorted .
It has a properly built body on a timber frame clad with Aluminum and Aircraft quality ply and is fitted with easily removable wings and lighting should you wish to run without them.
Please look at the photos posted there is also a You Tube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLWh9lT8Jtw   of it running at Prescott Long Course. If you scan backed through the pages you can see details of its build from a bare chassis to finished car.
The car is now road registered in my name which allows competition in both sports car and racing car classes or to use as a fairly spartan road car.
Last season I competed in 6 hill climbs 1 sprint and managed to win six trophies
This is ready to go straight out and race next season and and in the right hands is a class winning car.
The Car has a VSCC buff form and Period Defined Vehicle Identity Form issued by the Pre-War Austin 7 club as required by MOTORSPORT UK

I am asking for offers based on £30,000.

It was a lovely this morning so taking advantage of the Curfew Special's recent registration and road fund license I went out for a drive not far about 18 miles . I called in at a local public weigh bridge they like old and interesting vehicles there and allow free use unless you need an official certificate. the car weighed in at 360 kg lighter than I thought it would be.It behaved very well so long as you avoided the pot holes and one or two icy patches that were still about. I could probably back off the shockers a bit for road use but didn't bother its still as it was set up for Long Course at Prescott
